“Pocket” and “awesome” do not rhyme.

They will never rhyme. Ever.

Nor do the majority of the weak lyrics in that song.

And, as a result, it will always annoy the fuck out of me. And it should annoy everyone else, too.

But it doesn’t.

That bothers me, regardless of any catchy horn hook that accompanies the song.

So I will continue to remind the world that “pocket” and “awesome” do not rhyme. Forever and ever, amen.
